KEY DATES FOR ATHENA 2026 PROCESS
Each year, the Anchorage ATHENA Society, in partnership with the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, recognizes several outstanding women for their leadership and excellence in business, community service outside of job requirements, and their efforts in assisting and mentoring other women to reach their full potential.

CRITERIA FOR NOMINATIONS
Nominations for Anchorage ATHENA Society members are solicited from the community at large. Inductees are selected based on:
- Anchorage women leaders who demonstrate excellence in a business or profession
- Actively giving back to the Anchorage community through community service
- Actively mentoring or assisting other women in reaching their full potential in business
Nominators are encouraged to work with their nominees to make sure all relevant and important information is included. The nominations are screened by a selection committee comprised of past award recipients.
NOTE:
In terms of additional information beyond the nomination form, the maximum is three attachments at one page each. Additional pages will not be reviewed.
